Complex Sentence

    In grammar, a complex sentence is a sentence with one independent clause and at least one dependent clause. A complex sentence is often used to make clear which ideas are most important, and which ideas are subordinate.

Definition

A Compound Sentence is a sentence that joins two independent clauses together with :

1. A comma + coordinating conjunction 

A coordinating conjunction is also known as a F.A.N.B.O.Y.S. (For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So).

Example :

FOR  : Let’s go to the swimming pool, for it’s hot inside the house.

AND : I want to go to the circus, and I want to ride a pony.

Review

     Review is an evaluation of a publication, product, service, or company such as a movies, books, products, etc

       The purpose of review is to analyze and evaluate some creative works, and to inform people about its strengths and weaknesses.

• Formative - for performance enhancement
• Summative - for performance  assessment
• Formal - quizzes, tests, essays, lab reports, etc.

     A conclusion, opinion, or theory reached by conjecture. American Heritage®

Guess, conjecture, supposition, surmise, surmisal, speculation, hypothesis(noun), a message expressing an opinion based on incomplete evidence.
